Jukaado Bull Fight

Jukaado bull fight is specially designed to stimulate a multiple attacker situation on the road where anything from kicking, punching, pulling, pushing, throwing, locking etc can be used. It aims at improving your reflexes and ability to judge the movements of your attacker before he even attacks you. This also helps in building your endurance and spirit to not give up. There are no rules except that you cannot bite or scratch. The 3 attackers charge the defender together and have to restrict his or her complete movement. while the defender has to keep moving around and avoid getting caught and put down. Even though it looks simple it is very very tiring even a bout of just a minute requires lots of stamina. Do not practice or try this without proper instruction, if your body is not conditioned then it can lead to severe injuries and bruises. Only qualified and authentic instruction is required to train like this.

Jukaado Kumite - Practical training to simulate Realistic Attack

JUKAADO is a Mutli Martial Art with the base combination consisting of Judo, Karate and Aikido. However we also adapt and absorb the good techniques from numerous martial arts like Muay Thai, Kung fu, Kempo and so on. Being a multi martial art our training is very practically based and is very useful for civilians in self - defense as well as defense and security personal in Unarmed Combat. When a fight breaks out in the street the outcome or the way the fight will proceed cannot be controlled as there are no refrees like in a ring and no rules too. One has to be prepared for anything, sometimes even being hurled at with objects like stones, helmets, chairs and so on. In my personal experience as a security consultant I have experienced these quite a few times. It is only practical training that can prepare you for such attacks. The secret to good self defense is an alert mind and the ability to be prepared for anything that comes your way. Repetitive training is the only way one can ...

Shin Bone Conditioning

Conditioning of the body is very important and is practiced in most martial arts that have not moved towards sport. Martial Arts which still have full contact kumite's or fights still do practice body conditioning to strengthen every part of the body. Every part of the body can be strengthened using different traditional training aids. Today we will be seeing how the shin bone is conditioned using bamboo sticks. Take some bamboo sticks of equal length and bundle them together then make your training partner hold one end while you kick the bundle of sticks with your shin bone. We can also use a banana tree instead of bundle of bamboo sticks. Repeated kicking with the shin bone will strengthen the shin bone. With lots of such training it is possible to break your opponents bone by just kicking with the shin. However please do not do this unless you are supervised by a trained martial arts instructor. Practice makes perfect but wrong practice only breaks. Please do train ...

Martial Arts - Meditation for Life

Being a martial artist and an instructor I have often been asked by anxious parents before they enroll their kids if the child will become more aggressive, will he use what he learns in class on his friends at school and so on. This is a very common myth about martial arts. To this my answer has always been a big NO.  Martial Arts is a science in fact it should always be referred to as martial science rather than martial art, for within its training lies the solution to man's problems related to body, mind and soul.  When a student enrolls in a dojo (class) he or she may have joined for various reasons to improve health and fitness, to be able to defend one self or sometimes even because they want to be able to fight like their heroes eg - Bruce Lee. What ever may be the reason for enrolling, few months of training at an authentic dojo will change their outlook to life, mindset, health, discipline and much more in a student. Students become very calm and composed as they un...

How to execute a Block, Punch and Kick properly?

Uke waza (blocking techniques) , Tsugi  Waza ( punching techniques) and Geri Waza ( kicking techniques) form a major part of most martial arts. Techniques can be learnt but if not properly executed they are of no use practically. In my many years of experience I have seen many students of martial arts blocking, punching and kicking during class only by placing the hand or leg the way it has to be. Most don't execute a punch or block or kick the way it would be needed to be executed if one is required to use it on the road to defend themselves. No technique is executed properly if we do not focus our body, mind and spirit in executing the technique. We have to become one with the technique only then is it executed to its optimum potential. Am just amazed at the brilliance and profound knowledge of the great masters who have designed Martial Arts. They have covered all the aspects of life in these forms. From self defense to physical health, from increased immunity to healing powers...
