Everything in life boils down to mindset. If we wish to be good at anything we need to first fix our mindset. Once the mindset is on point then there is nothing we can not achieve, heal, grow from or excel at. Usually people try to change the way they do things while they are doing it and then once it is done with they let it go. It doesn't work that way. If we wish to do something or achieve something there is only one way, that is - just get it done. There is no other way or I will start slowly etc. If you wish to be a good martial artist or good at self defense then you have to become it. You can't train few times a week and expect to be good at it. It doesn't matter how focused you are or how much effort you are putting when you train, if it is not your mindset then you aren't going to be good at it. You need to be in that state 24/7.
